About Nicole Kraft

I am a longtime news and magazine writer and editor who is now a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University, specializing in magazine and news writing and editing, social media, enterprise reporting, multimedia and media law and ethics. From 1996-2010 I worked at the United States Trotting Association as editor of Hoof Beats magazine and director of communications, while earlier in my career I worked for newspapers in Philadelphia and California, as a congressional press secretary, and in public relations for the Philadelphia 76ers and Domain Chandon Winery. I am presently a freelance writer who has never met a story I didn’t want to write. My motto in life is “I don’t know what I don’t know,” so I always want to talk with and learn from those who know more than I!
